This page provides a link to the YAWS online searching engine but you need to have an internet link to that site in order to use it. Searching will not work if you do not have a connection to the internet.

You can search for a word or a combination of words. However phrases are not recognised as such: for example, a search for "summary judgment" would find a page where "summary" is the first word on the page and "judgment" is the last. The results are shown most relevant first. So if a search is done for "Lord Woolf" the first few links shown will no doubt include a reference to the MR; later links may only contain a reference to "Lord" (as in "Lord Justice").

Links to found pages will be put in this top frame. If a link is clicked on, the page will appear in the lower frame where it can be examined to see if it is any use: the list of found pages will remain in the top window, so you can browse through the found pages easily.

If the found page contains what you want, it may be better to load it into the top frame. There should be a link at the top of each page which will enable you to do this. (If there isn't, please use the menu on the left.)
