This is Version 46.1 of Yaws. It incorporates the amendments to the Rules introduced by the Civil Procedure (Amendment No.2) Rules 2007 and the corresponding changes to the Practice Directions. There are some new cases (shown as new in the list under "Reports" in the Menu on the left as added in April 2008). "New" in this context new means new on this site: some are older cases that are cross-referenced from recent cases and are included for completeness. (This version is late for various reasons, including computer problems.)
Seven more cases were added on 10 June 2008. These are shown as added in June 2008.
A zipped version of the site is again available (see above).
There are a lot of changes to the CPRs and PDs in this version. A full list of more than 160 changes can be found on the Ministry of Justice site.
As usual, if you find an error please tell me so I can correct it.
YAWS is a free site and great care is taken to try to ensure that it is accurate. Please note, however, that no guarantee whatsoever is given: YAWS is produced by computer programs written and maintained by me. The only versions of the CPRs, PDs SIs and so on guaranteed to be accurate (more or less) are the printed versions produced by HMSO. The cases on the site are taken from transcripts and so may contain errors that will be (or may already have been) corrected in the final printed versions.
